GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-50 KNOTS, DIMINISHING IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC IN THE
AFTERNOON AND IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT. STILL A
LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE SOUTH OF THE
ADRIATIC AT FIRST.
A ridge of high pressure intensifies from the northwest toward the
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NE winds strengthening to 12-28, but diminishing in the North Adriatic
in the afternoon to 6-16 and turning toward the end of the day and
during the night to SW 6-16 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4, but calming
in the North Adriatic in the afternoon to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km.
Clearing, but in the South Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with
a little rain or isolated rain showers with thunder. Air temperatures
will drop a little.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Fine or fair in the North and mostly clear in the rest of the Adriatic.
Moderate to strong NE winds, diminishing in the Central, from the
middle of the night toward the morning in the South Adriatic as well,
to light to moderate. In the North Adriatic light to moderate SW winds.
Sea smooth or slight, in the South, at first in a part of the Central
Adriatic up to moderate.
