GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-55 KNOTS, DIMINISHING IN THE NORTH, DURING THE
NIGHT IN THE CENTRAL AND FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TOWARD THE
MORNING IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC. STILL A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC AT FIRST.
A ridge of high pressure intensifies from the northwest toward the
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NE winds 12-24, in places up to 32, but diminishing in the North,
during the night in the Central Adriatic, to 6-16 knots. In the North
Adriatic toward the end of the day and during the night NE winds
turning to W and SW 6-16 knots. Sea 3-4, but calming in the North,
during the night in the Central Adriatic, to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km.
Mostly clear, but in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still
variably cloudy with a little rain or isolated rain showers with
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Fine or fair with mist in the North and mostly clear in the rest of the
Adriatic. Light to moderate, in the South Adriatic at first still up to
strong NE winds, diminishing a little and turning in the open to NW. In
the North Adriatic light to moderate W and SW winds. Sea smooth or
slight, in the South Adriatic at first up to moderate.
