Basina

Basina is one of the most beautiful bays of the island of Hvar. Basina is situated on the northeast side, in the middle of the island, and it is only a few kilometres away from Starigrad, Jelsa and Vrboska. It is surrounded by the thick pine forest and immersed in the fields of olive trees, lavender and vine plantations with extraordinary nature, clean coasts and sea water.

This area offers a possibility of a really peaceful vacation without cars or too many tourists. Basina is located within three beautiful coves. You can choose to bathe at the gravel beach, sunbathe on the flat stone surfaces or dive off the cliffs into the sea. This area is very interesting for surfers (especially the beginners) and to all of those that prefer a peaceful vacation in an unspoiled natural surroundings.
