Situace na silnicich v Chorvatsku

In Lika and Gorski kotar mountain regions it is snowing, along the coast there is very strong wind.
Recommended: Do not start Your journey without the winter equipment! If possible, postpone it!

All traffic is suspended on A1 Sveti Rok-Maslenica motorway due to very strong wind.
Detour for passenger vehicles: D 50, D 27, D 54 state roads through Gračac and Zaton Obrovački.
There is currently no free road for other vehicles from the north towards the south.

Along the section of D8 Senj-Sveta Marija Magdalena Adriatic road traffic is closed for all vehicles as well.

Only passenger traffic is allowed on D54 Maslenica-Zaton Obrovački state road and D8 Bakar-Senj.

On A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway on the section Kikovica-Delnice and on Rijeka detour road Škurinje-Orehovica there is a traffic ban on freight vehicles with more than 3,5 tonnes, buses, vehicles with a trailer and motorcycles.

On Krk and Pag bridges there is a traffic ban on: doubledeckers, vehicles with a trailer and motorcycles.

Due to winter driving conditions traffic is suspended for freight vehicles with a trailer and all other vehicles have to use the winter equipment in

Gorski kotar mountain area:
A 6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway, section Kikovica-Bosiljevo,
D3 Zdihovo-Delnice,
+ on most roads in G. kotar as well as in Novi Vinodolski area;

Lika mountain area:
D 1 Karlovac-Gračac-Knin,
D 23 Kapela-Žuta Lokva-Senj,
D 25 Korenica-Lički Osik,
D 27 Gračac-Obrovac,
D 42 Saborsko-Selište,
D 50 Žuta Lokva-Gospić-Gračac,
D 52 Špilnik-Korenica,
D 217 Grabovac-Ličko Petrovo Selo,
D 218 Užljebić border crossing-Donji Lapac-Srb-Otrić.

D 506 Dobroselo-Mazin state road is closed for all traffic.

On D47 Dvor-Hrvatska Kostajnica state road at the place Kuljani traffic is allowed for buses and passenger vehicles only due to flood.

Expect rock and land sliding on D8 Adriatic road and in the mountain regions!

In the roadwork areas delays occur occasionally.

Every day 8am-6pm till March 16 through Mala Kapela tunnel on A1 motorway traffic is proceeding over one road lane only in each direction.

On the section of D8 Omiš-Dupci Adriatic road in Lokva Rogoznica tunnel traffic is suspended and is flowing over the detour road. At the place Podaca only one lane is free.

Till March 26 traffic is suspended in Istria on B8/B9 highway between Buje and Nova Vas knots in direction Istria (detour: Nova Vas knot-DC301-ŽC5070-Brtonigla-DC 300-Buje knot), between Žminj and Rogovići knots (detour: Žminj-ŽC5190-Rogovići) and on the section Vodnjan jug (south)-Pula knot.

Till April 30 it is also closed at Višnjan knot and the one Medaki as well as on the section of the same highway in Istria Vodnjan sjever (north)-Pula.

At Demerje paytoll (4 km before Zagreb) on A1/A6 motorway Jastrebarsko-Zagreb the toll can be paid using the ENC device or credit cards. At Lučko paytoll it can be paid with cash only.

Roadworks in progress:
- on D1 state road Gubaševo-Zaprešić knot till March 31;
- on D2 state road Varaždin-Dubrava Križovljanska - there is a traffic ban on freight vehicles above 7,5 t on sundays 6am-10pm;
- on D 30 Buzin-Velika Gorica state road;
- on ŽC 5169 Bjelopolje-Donji Lapac regional road - closed for traffic till April 1 . Detour: D 1 Bruvno-Mazin-Dobroselo-D. Lapac-D218;
- on A1 motorway in Konjsko tunnel (371st km) in both directions - driving speed to set at 60 km/h.
- on A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway - in Javorova Kosa/Pod Vugleš tunnels and at Stara Sušica viaduct in direction Zagreb;
- on Rijeka detour road, section Orehovica-Trsat tunnel in direction Istria-Rupa border crossing;
- on B6 Kikovica-Orehovica highway;
- at Krk bridge;
- in Istria on D21 state road at Medaki knot, till March 31 .
- at "Čeveljuša" part near Ploče.

The bridge Tisno on Murter island closes for traffic for 30 minutes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9am.

Ferry traffic

Prizna-Žigljen ferry for Pag island, Jablanac-Mišnjak ferry for Rab island and Brestova-Porozina ferry for Cres island as well as Rijeka-Mali Lošinj, Rijeka-Novalja, Split-Hvar-Vela Luka-Ubli and Split-Vis catamarans do not operate because of strong wind.
